NATO JETS ROAR THREATS OVER KOSOVO.(MAIN)

PADESH, Albania -- NATO fighter jets thundered over the border with Yugoslavia's Kosovo province on Monday in a show of force aimed at ending Serb attacks on ethnic Albanians there.

The United States and 12 other nations took part in the exercise over neighboring countries, which had planes skimming the rooftops of Tirana, the capital of Albania, and coming within 10 miles of the border with Kosovo. The maneuvers were designed as a warning to Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic to end the fighting or risk military strikes from the West.
